Is SNAP safe?

SNAP is generally regarded as safe (GRAS). Dr. Primitivo Santos and Dr. Eureka Ocampo of the University of the Philippines Los Baños Institute of Plant Breeding (UPLB-IPB) developed SNAP Hydroponics with the help of the Department of Agriculture’s (DA) Bureau of Agricultural Research back in 1999. SNAP Hydroponics has been around for close to 20 years. To date, no noteworthy incident involving the use of SNAP Hydroponics has been reported.

What do I do with the spent solution left in the reservoir after I harvest my crops?

You can use them to water you regular potted plants or even reuse them for your next grow.

What does SNAP Hydroponics A and SNAP Hydroponics B nutrient solution contain?

SNAP A and SNAP B are fertilizers dissolved in about 85% water and, therefore, non-flammable, non-explosive and specifically intended for use in growing vegetables in hydroponics. More information is available in the  combined materials safety data sheet (MSDS) for SNAP A/B solutions.
