STATEMENT OF NON-HAZARDOUS NATURE:
Not Flammable. Not explosive.
SNAP A and SNAP B are fertilizers dissolved in about 85% water and, therefore, non-flammable, non-explosive and specifically intended for use in GROWING vegetable in hydroponics.
IDENTIFICATION
PRODUCT NAME: SNAP A and SNAP B are liquid fertilizers used specifically for hydroponics (soil-less farming).
USE: Water-based liquid fertilizers for hydroponics system of growing plants
INGREDIENTS: (dissolved in about 85 percent distilled water)
SNAP A (In Elemental Form)
- Nitrogen – 6.10% wt/vol
- Calcium – 4.245% wt/vol
- Potassium – 3.09% wt/vol
SNAP B (In Elemental Form)
Phosphorus -0.376% wt/vol
Magnesium – 0.494% wt/vol
Iron – 0.151% wt/vol
Microelements Boron, Manganese and Molybdenum in trace amounts
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION/PROPERTIES
APPEARANCE AND ODOUR: Snap A is slightly cloudy while Snap B is clear and yellowish in color; both solutions are liquid water suspension concentrate.
BOILING POINT: > 100°C
VAPOUR PRESSURE (@ 20°C): Not available.
FLASHPOINT: Not applicable.
SOLUBILITY: Miscible with water in all proportions.
pH: 2.2
CHEMICAL ENTITY PROPORTION
HEALTH EFFECTS:
May be harmful if ingested in excessive quantities.
May irritate eyes.
Non-toxic.
FIRST AID:
If swallowed, give plenty of water to drink and get medical aid.
Eye: Hold eye(s) open and flush with water for 15 minutes. Seek medical advice.
Skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.
ADVICE TO DOCTOR:
Treat symptomatically.
ENGINEERING STANDARDS:
Keep containers closed when not in use.
PERSONAL PROTECTION:
Avoid personal contact. When using, do not eat, drink or smoke. After use and before eating, drinking, smoking or using the toilet, wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
SAFE HANDLING INFORMATION STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:
If packed in bottles, individual bottle must be tightly capped and sealed. To ensure a leak-free transport, bottles of the product must be placed inside a leak-free PVC plastic bag and placed in a rigid box (cartoons, wood or polystyrene/styro).
Store in original container. Keep away from animals and humans. Keep out of direct sunlight Store below 40?C. Keep containers closed when not in use.
